QUOTE: C’mon, Potato Head, if Woody says it’s alright… then darn it, it’s good enough for me. Woody has never steered us wrong before.
NAME: Slinky Dog
AGE: Probably made about 15 years ago. Personality-wise, probably seems early 30s
SPECIES: Toy
TYPICAL DRESS: N/A
PICTURE:![](http://www.majhost.com/gallery/matoran03/DisneyAvatars/DisneyScreenshots/slink.png)
FILM: Toy Story movies
Occupation/Status: Toy; fairly high in the hierarchy of Bonnie’s room due to Woody’s trust in him.
Family: N/A
Friends: Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Bullseye, Hamm, Rex, the Potato Heads, Bonnie’s toys
Enemies: Lotso, Al, Sid, Stinky Pete
Skills: Given his build, Slinky’s spring allows him to stretch himself over greater lengths than an ordinary person would be able to reach, although too far risks injury for him.
Weapons: N/A
History: Brought from Al’s Toy Barn for Andy when he was six, Slinky was soon to join the ranks of some of the boy’s favourite toys, such as Rex, Hamm and Mr Potato Head, all new arrivals themselves, although none of them quite stood up to Woody the cowboy in terms of popularity. This was fine by the canine toy; unlike Potato Head, who was jealous of Woody’s status, Slinky quickly proved himself to be as loyal to the cowboy as would be the dog he was modelled after, earning himself a degree of resentment from Potato Head. Slinky was present a few years later when Buzz arrived in Andy’s room, and while even his confidence in Woody was shaken when it looked as though the cowboy doll had murdered Buzz, he was also one of the first to try and help Woody and Buzz back when that turned out not to be the case, sustaining injury in the process. He was also a participant in the mission to rescue Woody from Al, and one of the few toys Andy kept hold of right to the end. While joining the others in abandoning Andy after it appeared he had thrown them out, Slinky also proved an invaluable asset in the escape from Sunnyside, and was eventually given to Bonnie along with his friends.
Sample Post: "There!" Slinky triumphantly pushed his piece across the board with his muzzle, scooping up the last two of his opponent's in the process. Playing checkers with Woody was still one of his favourite pastimes, and this time Slinky had won easily. In fact, the cowboy seemed... preoccupied, as though he had more important things on his mind that checkers. Leaving any potential gloating for later, the coiled canine padded around to his friend's side of the board.
"Woody? Is something wrong?"
"I don't know, Slink," looking down at him, Woody reached out and scratched behind one of the toy dog's ears, causing his springy tail to lash gently with pleasure. "It just feels like something big's about to go wrong."
No sooner were the words out of the cowboy's mouth than it happened; to Slinky, it seemed as though the whole world were splitting apart around him in a flash of blue light, and his paws scrabbled in vain to grab hold of something, before just as suddenly, everything slammed back together with the force of a small meteorite. It was a moment before Slinky found his voice again.
"Whoa, nellie... what in the world just happened?"
